In new construction, tubing is embedded in the concrete slab or stapled to the subfloor before the finished flooring goes down. In retrofit situations, we can run low-profile systems over the existing subfloor using aluminum heat-transfer plates that allow thinner finished floor heights.
Radiant systems run at lower water temperatures than radiator systems (typically 120–130°F vs 180°F), which makes them ideal for condensing boilers. The boiler operates at maximum efficiency, and you get the best comfort available. It's a combination that pays for itself over time.
